Marriage Jubilee Divine Liturgy
Since so many couples are struggling to live their married vocation nowadays, it is crucial to reassure them that they can do it as others have done. Planning a Divine Liturgy with reception to follow to honor jubilarian anniversary couples and celebrate their silver (25 years) or golden (50 years) wedding anniversaries and beyond fifty including the longest marriage in your parish can be great way to affirm young couples in living their vocation to married life faithfully.
At Divine Liturgy, the main celebrant can focus on the theme of married life.
Jubilarian couples can be involved in offering the gifts, reading at liturgy..
At the end of Liturgy, couple can be encouraged to renew their marital vows using the form provided here.
After liturgy, continue celebrating married life with nice reception for the couples in the social hall.

World Marriage Day
"World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as the foundation of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in daily married life." World Marriage Day is February 9th, 2020.
The Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn is looking to honor the “Longest Married” couples in the Eparchy. The couples will be recognized and honored in their own parishes after a Sunday Divine Liturgy. Many Parishes often recognize married couples and give special honor to those celebrating major anniversaries or who are longest married during a Sunday in February. However thsi Divine Liturgy can be celebrated any Sunday of the year. Can wedding Sunday and Sunday of the Family ( close to May 15 ) would be more ideal. The list of all the couples in the “search”, as well as an article featuring the winning couple will be printed in the Maronite Voice. Help us in this research by posting an announcement in your bulletin and on your website.
